Denise Jabbour

Denise Jabbour is a Creative Producer from Beirut, Lebanon.

She started her career as the agency producer at TBWA/RAAD Dubai, United Arab Emirates, handling print, radio, and TVC productions for many prestigious brands.

After a few years, she moved back to Lebanon to work on storytelling.

She worked with Batoota Films and the BBC Trust Fund on Arabic web-drama series:

Shankaboot’ - It won Reflet d’Or for Best Web Series at the Geneva International Film Festival in 2010 and the International Emmy Award in Cannes 2011.

Fasateen’ - It won The Grand Prix Du Jury at Marseille Film Festival.

Since 2009, she has been handling Middle East productions for “Visionaire Media” and “Layalina Productions”, working on projects such as "American Caravan", "Injaz", "Trading Places" and "On the Road in America".

In 2014, she created and produced "Zyara the Documentary Series", as the first creation of her humanitarian arts association “Home of Cine-Jam”, which she set up together with Muriel Aboulrouss.

Zyara won 45 international awards so far and a new season of 12 episodes will be produced every year.

Currently she is running the MENA Media Fund for “Visionaire Media” as the head of production and development in the Middle East. 2020 projects include: ‘Confessions of a Runner’, ‘Daughters of Darkness’, ‘Confessions from the War’ and ‘Project Soar’.

Through it all, she has been enjoying life fully, learning from every adventure she embarks on, working with amazing partners, surrounded by a passionate film crew, and most of all – at the end of each journey – delivering a beautiful story to audiences across the world.
