Georgette Gebara danced many of the leading roles of the classical repertoire: Les Sylphides, Coppelia, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, The Dying Swan, Cinderella, extracts from Swan Lake. She is the Founder/Director of ECOLE LIBANAISE DE BALLET, Beirut, 1964; Branches in Tripoli 1972 and Ain Saadeh 1990. Built new premises (1240 sq. m) in Zouk Mosbeh, 1985. She quotes Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, “If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough!”

لعبت جورجيت جبارة العديد من أدوار الرّاقصة الرّئيسيّة ضمن المجموعة الكلاسيكيّة لعروض الباليه: سيلفيد، كوبيليا، كسّارة الجوز، الجميلة النّائمة، البجعة، سندريلا ومقتطفات من بحيرة البجع. أسّست جبارة المدرسة اللبنانيّة للباليه وأدارتها، في بيروت 1946؛ طرابلس 1972 وعين سعادة 1990، كما أقامت مبان ومنشآت جديدة (1240 متر مربّع) في زوق مصبح عام 1985. تقتبس جبارة من إلين جونسون سيرليف حين تقول: “إن لم تُخِفك أحلامك، فهي ليست كبيرة بالقدر الكافي لذلك”!
