Mariam Baher the super woman who chose homelessness to protect her dignity as a women, Michel Abboud and what bankruptcy does to a father, Therese Hawat the artists who sacrificed her talent for family, Yorgui Teyrouz who compensated for killing by donating blood (Donnez Sang Compter), Ray Bassil a champion who exposes the pain of discipline, Ramzi Haydar the photographer who captured the dead to prevent death, Arpi Mangassarian the Armenian Lebanese cultural activist and her take on family bounds, Ziad Abi Chaker the “king of garbage” and his love for his country, Fadia Tannir a one of a kind mime actress on sickness and loss, Sami Hawat the famous singer exploring the deep connection between art and aloneness, Nahla Ghandour is a writer and activist for health and education and in her episode she exposes ignorance in parenthood. Last but not least, our amazing Shepherd Tony Bsaibes, an engineer who left the Gulf to come and tend to his goats and land.

Zyara is the original creation of Home of Cine-Jam, an award-winning documentary series that paints poetic portraits of people. Through 5-minute episodes, Zyara manages to engrave parts of its subjects’ souls, some of their stories and most of all, their emotions.

Home of Cine-Jam is an association for Humanitarian Arts. Its main objective is to inspire and induce social emotional healing through authentic short films or series & to archive human emotions through audiovisual Art.
