Civil engineer and urban planner, Arpi believes that the sense of belonging to a homeland is the only guarantee for people’s longevity, dignity and prosperity. A descendant of Armenian roots, Arpi doesn’t want to perpetuate the exile suffered by her forefathers. She will do anything to hold on to her current homeland that is Lebanon and its cultural diversity and uniqueness. She’s the founder of Armenian artistic platform ‘Badguer’ which is aimed at developing cultural and national identity awareness, because in her view, the loss of a nation is the loss of life.
